Ductile Iron, also known as Spheroidal Graphite Iron or Nodular Cast Iron, is an alloy of Iron, Carbon, and Silicon. It is produced by adding magnesium to low-sulphur molten iron, transforming the graphite structure into nodules.
This unique microstructure provides superior tensile strength (minimum 420 MPa) and excellent corrosion resistance, making DI pipes the preferred choice for water supply and pressure sewage systems.
With our captive Blast Furnace and subsequent Hot metal Production, we are well-positioned to ensure efficient and cost-effective raw material utilization for DI pipe manufacturing. The project marks a significant step in our ongoing expansion in the metal and mining sector.
